What Is The Patterned Desk

Hi! Thank you so much for dropping by. I am Vanessa maker of The Patterned Desk. I use to find myself wondering what more can I do beyond taking care of my family. Though most of my days are filled with joy and challenges, there is always a small part of me wanting to do more, wanting to step out of my comfort zone and grow. Later on, I discovered that I love calligraphy and surface pattern design. I practiced and set aside time to just learn something everyday no matter how big or small it is. Even if it means I have to wake up at 430am in the morning in between chores and night shifts as a nurse. I found myself creating and expressing my feelings on each piece that I make. In this I found peace and self love that made me into a more creative, more fun loving mom. To answer the question what is The Patterned Desk, it is simply a story of my journey through motherhood. Each coaster and notepad is made with simple patterns while I am balancing a baby on the other hand. It is filled with love and care. My hope is you find joy and light on every decor that you choose.
