3 Things to Write In Your Journal

Happy new year! It’s 2023, it seems like time flies so fast lately. Honestly, as a mom everything is a blur with all the endless appointments and to do list. Still, on the first day of the year, I find myself sitting down and just looking back and planning the future. So many things to reflect on, to learn from and to simply be grateful for. I find myself wishing that I can slow down and just cherish each moment.

In order to do this, I put myself on a task to write more and to just look at how I am feeling and what I should do to make life better. If you are in the same journey as mine, here are 3 things to write on your journal.

YOUR GOALS AND DREAMS

Though it is really hard to step out of ones’ comfort zone, writing down my dreams and goals is the first step. By just knowing my vision exist on a piece of paper, taking that first baby step is easier than just having my dreams buried in the back of my mind. So, write it, put it up, look at it everyday and make it happen.

your favorite memories

Whenever I feel lonely and just need a little encouragement, I look back on old pictures and writings about my favorite days. Remembering the happy feeling and sometimes the sadness that came with an event makes me realize that I am still standing and still capable to make new memories. Alot of times, this reminds me that I am not alone, and I am loved.

what are you grateful for

Writing what I am grateful for helps me to be positive and to appreciate what I have. Often times I forget what truly matters when I get overwhelmed with daily challenges. A few minutes a day to just say thank you for what I have gives me a sense of calm.

Though alot of times I see myself forgetting my purpose, my hope is this year I will be more mindful and motivated to be better and to just win over the challenges that I am facing. How about you, what are your vision for this year? What do you like to add on your journal?
